A good way to increase the battery and your eye's health is by enabling the reduce white point option in the settings. That's why today, I'm going to show you how you can enable this particular feature in your used iPhone 12 Pro.

Let's start by discussing what a white point is.

What Is a White Point

A white point in a used iPhone 12 Pro is the setting that determines the tint, brightness, and color temperature of the display. Changing your white point can help you achieve more accurate colors when viewing photos and videos and make the display easier on your eyes. Different white points can also slightly impact your device's battery life, so be sure to experiment and find the right balance for you. 

It's important to note that different iPhones may have different ideal white points, so do some experimenting to see which one looks best for you. Ultimately, finding the right white point for your used iPhone 12 Pro is a matter of personal preference, so don't be afraid to experiment and find the perfect setting for you. With this knowledge in hand, you can now confidently adjust the white point on your device whenever desired and enjoy improved visuals and battery life as a result.

How to Enable Reduce White Point in a Used iPhone 12 Pro

This is one of the simplest things you can do to extend the life of both your eyes and your phone. Since it reduces the level of brightness, the screen consumes less energy meaning longer battery backup. I just bought myself a used iPhone 12 Pro from Wise Market Pakistan, and it's been working amazingly. 

However, I still don't like the brightness of the screen. Luckily, I have the option to adjust the brightness of the screen further than usual. You can also do this for other iPhones by enabling the reduce white point option in the settings.

To enable it, you'll need to:

  • Tap the gear icon labeled "Settings." 

  • Next, you'll need to scroll down and tap on the "Accessibility" option.

  • After that, scroll down and tap the "Display & Text Size" option.

  • From here, you can adjust what you want to change in the display. Scroll down to almost the bottom of the screen and toggle the "Reduce White Point" switch.

  • By default, it'll reduce the white point to 50%, but you can go even further by adjusting it from the bar shown below.

That's it! There are no complicated steps that you need to go through. Just toggle the switch to on, and you'll be able to reduce the white point on a used iPhone 12 Pro. You can also disable it if you want to by simply toggling the reduce white option to off.

Overall, I think that it's an amazing feature offered by the iPhone. With this level of customization, you can adjust the brightness of your phone to last much longer than usual. 

A few days back, when I hadn't gotten the iPhone charger, I made the phone last almost 25 hours by simply turning the battery saver mode on and reducing the white point. If you want to further improve the battery life, you should enable the dark mode of the smartphone because, in the LED screen, the pixels are turned off.
