Top 8 Things to Do in Miami

First want to say that ever since I've been visiting Miami, circa 2000, the city has exploded. Not only with the big real estate boom, but also financially. Looking back, the city has hosted two Super Bowls in that time period, plus see its baseball team receive a new stadium that is set to open next year.

Miami is now home to me, and I want to share with you my favorite things to do in Miami. Keep in mind that I'm a sports lover, so some of the activities I'll list will reflect this.

Things to Do in Miami:-

These are in no particular order, as it is hard to order everything that is so much fun and exciting. This is my little disclaimer!

1. Miami Dolphins football game

The Finns are competing at a high level now that Bill Parcells is in town and Ricky Williams has regained his old form. Finn's games are great fun for many reasons. You have a beer, football, a rocking stadium, and winning coaching staff. The Finns are not my favorite NFL team, but they are one that I follow because they are the home team.

2. Storm Games

Of course, I love football, so the Cannes football team is my first choice, but their baseball team and basketball team are also competing at a very high level. Totally worth checking out!

3. South Beach

This place is a blast. You have bars, clubs, discos, and beautiful ladies! What's not to like about South Beach?

4. Golf

There are lots of great courses in Miami. You have Doral, Miami Beach Golf Club, and Crandon Park. All the best courses amidst tropical settings.

5. Marlins Baseball

I love baseball as much as anyone, and the Marlins produce a solid team every year, even though they pay their players as much as McDonald's. They really need to spend more money, but hey, they are considered a small market and it's not my job to do that. ,

6 Ft. Lauderdale

It is just a short drive away. There are many places to visit including the Riverwalk, Las Olas, and more. It's not as diverse as Miami, but it's a nice little oasis and is popular with boaters.

7. Food

I can name about 100 restaurants in Miami that I love, but I'll start with a few: Prime 112, Joss Stone Crabs, Red, Casa Tua, and Shula. All the best places!

8. Bars

Well, if we're having a meal I can list my drinking spots too. For starters, you can hit the tourist traps that are also popular with locals on Ocean Drive. There are the world-famous Wet Willys, Clevelander, Ocean Ten, and many more. Of course, I love Elle House for games, which has multiple locations in Miami-Dade. I also love turning to Doral Hooters, the #1 Hooters in the country. The girls there are mostly of Colombian descent, which I am not going to argue with. You probably won't either.

This is my personal list of things to do in Miami – if you find yourself in the city, give them a shot.
